About Gary Allard

I am a commercial photographer with a deep background in active lifestyle brands. I specialize in creating images that evoke a strong sense of place and time and invite the viewer to fill in the blanks with their own experiences.

For many years I was an art director in the action sports/apparel industry. I built brand strategies through imagery, solidified a niche within a market and helped maintain a consistent global voice for the product. Now, by applying these skills to the photographs I make, I can bring a unique insight to the process which is ultimately reflected in the final image.
